24 January 2010 at 6:02 pm | In Service Updates | Leave a CommentOur data center will be performing firmware updates on switches and RAIDs this Friday (01/29/2010) between the hours 21:00 to 22:30 PST (GMT -8). The expected downtime will be about an hour. All of the New Relic websites including www.newrelic.com and rpm.newrelic.com will be unavailable during this outage.
The New Relic agents will continue to collect performance data from your application although (a) you will not be able to view the data during the outage and (b) after the outage, the performance charts will show averages for the outage period. Other than that, you won’t notice a thing.

Maintenance Window Saturday from midnight into the wee hours
6 January 2010 at 5:32 pm | In Service Updates | Leave a CommentOur data center has planned maintenance for the replacement of their core switching on 01/09/2009 (Saturday) between the hours 00:01 to 07:59 PST (GMT -8). The expected downtime will be fifteen minutes or less. The maintenance will commence within the 8 hour window starting at 00:01 and ending at 07:59 local time (PST). All of the New Relic websites including www.newrelic.com and rpm.newrelic.com will be unavailable during this outage. (While technically Saturday early morning, some might consider this as late-late Friday night.)
